Directions to Forfar Golf Club
From DUNDEE follow the signs
to Aberdeen A90 (Access from the Kingsway)
Travel north for about 15 miles.
Forfar is bye-passed by the A90 and there are four crossings, which allow
you to leave the dual carriageway on the LEFT . Pass the first one and
turn left to FORFAR at the second. (This takes you through an under pass,
past McDonald's along the A929.)
From ABERDEEN:-
Travel south on the A90. 12 miles past Brechin there are four exits on
the left which allow you to leave the dual carriageway on the LEFT. Pass
the first two and turn left to FORFAR at the third. (This takes you past
McDonald‚s Burger Bar along the A929 into Forfar)
Travel straight into Forfar. Keep straight on at both sets of traffic lights
and take the A932 Arbroath Road, which veers, to the right after the two sets
of traffic lights.
Travel on for more than 1 mile. The Club is on the right hand side just past
a wood, which is also on the right. (You will see the Practice Ground before
the wood.)
From ARBROATH:-
Take the road to Brechin, the A933 and travel until the turn off to Friockheim
(which is on the right). Take a LEFT turn to Forfar along the A932 and travel
for 7 miles. Forfar Golf Club is on the left, about 100 yards short of the Auchterforfar
turn off.
